# Launch Your Career with Emirates: A Global Leader in Aviation
Emirates stands as one of the world’s most rapidly expanding airlines, operating from its strategic hub in Dubai. Connecting travelers to over 150 destinations across the globe, the Emirates Group encompasses much more than just a world-class airline; it includes Dnata’s comprehensive airport services, a vast portfolio of hotel properties, and diverse transportation-related ventures.
Backed by the government of Dubai, the airline has flourished under an "open skies" policy, which has transformed Dubai International Airport into the busiest and most efficient aviation hub in the Middle East. Renowned for its commitment to luxury service and consistent financial growth, Emirates maintains a unique position in the industry by opting out of global alliances, such as Star Alliance or Oneworld, choosing instead to manage its own strategic partnerships and code-sharing agreements.
