## About the Role: Junior Mine Geologist
PT Archi Indonesia Tbk is currently seeking a dedicated and analytical professional to fill the Junior Mine Geologist position. This site-based role plays an instrumental part in maintaining high-standard mining operations, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing ore extraction processes.
Core Responsibilities
The successful candidate will undertake a diverse portfolio of technical and safety-driven duties designed to maintain the company's industry-leading standards:
* Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Champion personal HSE performance, contribute to high safety standards on-site, and actively participate in monthly safety meetings. Ensure strict adherence to departmental protocols, including isolation and tag-out procedures, safe work permits, hot work permits, and Job Safety and Environmental Analysis (JSEA). Furthermore, oversee high-standard incident investigations and identify ongoing safety training needs.
* Operational Geology & Grade Control: Supervise grade control and blast hole drilling programs while closely monitoring QA/QC sampling and assaying quality. Execute comprehensive pit mapping during ore spotting or at the onset of new drilling campaigns.
* Ore Extraction Management: Guarantee that ore digging aligns strictly with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Minimize dilution through rigorous supervision and compile insightful weekly ore inspection reviews.
* Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate daily with the mine production team to achieve aggressive daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Generate detailed weekly drilling reviews and assist the Database Geologist in managing daily data activities, including drilling, production, and Fleet Management Systems (FMS).
Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

* Education: Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Geological Engineering from an accredited university.
* Experience: Bring a minimum of one (1) year of practical working experience in mining geology, with a specialized focus on grade control and operational mining environments.
* Communication: Demonstrate fluent verbal and written communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
* Technical Proficiency: Show strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite alongside hands-on mastery of 3D geological modeling software, such as Surpac or equivalent industry tools.
* Safety Awareness: Possess a robust understanding of mining safety protocols, including HSE procedures, JSEA, and work permit frameworks.
* Analytical Skills: Exhibit sharp analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a firm grasp of QA/QC sampling and assaying practices.
