# Career Opportunities at PT CJ Feed and Care Indonesia: Join a Global Leader in Food and Biotechnology
CJ Cheil Jedang stands as a cornerstone of South Korea’s industrial landscape, maintaining a prestigious reputation as a global powerhouse in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and food production. Renowned for iconic consumer brands such as Bibigo, Beksul, DASIDA, and Haechandle, the company has spent decades refining its commitment to quality and innovation.
A Legacy of Innovation and Evolution
The journey began in August 1953 under the original name "Cheil Jedang." Initially established as a sugar and flour manufacturer, the company operated as a core subsidiary of the Samsung Group. A major strategic shift occurred in July 1993, when the entity gained management independence, pivoting its focus toward the dynamic sectors of food and entertainment. By February 1997, the company had fully finalized its separation from the Samsung Group, rebranding as the Cheil Jedang Group and setting a trajectory toward the global multi-industry leadership it enjoys today.
