## Unleashing Your Potential as a Field Operator
Medco Power is currently expanding its elite technical team and is seeking a dedicated Field Operator to ensure the seamless performance of its power generation facilities. This role is pivotal in maintaining the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities of the Field Operator
The successful candidate will serve as the eyes and ears of our operations team, working in tandem with the Unit Controller to maintain peak plant performance. Your primary duties will include:
* Operational Oversight: Managing plant operations during routine activities and emergency scenarios to ensure absolute compliance with safety protocols.
* Field Supervision: Performing regular on-site inspections to verify that real-world conditions match the data reported in the Central Control Room.
* Incident Response: Acting immediately during unit trips or urgent system events, reporting to the control room to assist with troubleshooting and incident mitigation.
* System Start-ups: Providing critical support during planned facility start-ups, particularly when technical complexities require extra monitoring.
* Local Control: Operating equipment via local control panels under the remote guidance of the Unit Controller.
* Reporting: Maintaining accurate daily logs to ensure no operational abnormalities go unnoticed.
## Eligibility and Qualifications
To join our dynamic team, you must possess a proactive mindset and a solid technical foundation. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum of a Diploma (D3) degree.
* Professional Experience: At least one year of hands-on experience as an operator within a power plant, heavy equipment, or utility industry setting.
* Technical Proficiency: A strong grasp of basic mechanical systems, including rotating equipment, bearings, and hydraulics.
* Electrical Expertise: Preference will be given to candidates with a solid understanding of electrical systems, specifically those involving high-voltage operations.
* Core Competencies: Exceptional logical reasoning, strong analytical skills, and the ability to solve complex problems under pressure.
* Communication: Fluency in both written and spoken English.
* Commitment: Willingness to be permanently stationed in North Sulawesi, as this role is based on a non-roster, full-time arrangement.
