## Position Overview: Accountant (Nila Breeding Center)
We are looking for a dedicated individual who possesses a keen eye for detail and a passion for operational excellence. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing financial integrity and providing data-driven insights that support our aquaculture operations.
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Experience: A minimum of one year of professional experience in Accounting or Costing.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial statement preparation, COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) calculations, MS Excel, and industry-standard accounting software.
* Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, high accuracy in reporting, and excellent communication skills.
* Adaptability: A genuine willingness to learn and understand field operations within fish cultivation.
* Added Value: Prior experience in the manufacturing or aquaculture/fisheries sectors is highly preferred.
## Core Responsibilities
The selected candidate will take ownership of the financial health of our breeding operations. Your primary duties will include:
1. Financial Reporting: Recording daily transactions and preparing comprehensive financial statements.
2. Cost Management: Calculating cultivation costs—including feed, seed, and operational expenses—and determining precise COGS.
3. Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels and managing the valuation of biological assets (fish populations).
4. Operational Analysis: Managing partnership accounting, profit-sharing calculations, and performing variance analysis to control operational costs.
5. Performance Tracking: Developing profit reports per pond or per cultivation cycle to support management’s strategic decision-making process.
