Located within the strategic Greenland International Industry Center (GIIC) in Cikarang, Bekasi, our facility spans a 7,000-square-meter site with a dedicated 3,550-square-meter production floor. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineer to join our manufacturing excellence team.
## Key Responsibilities of a Production Engineer
The Production Engineer plays a critical role in optimizing our manufacturing workflows and maintaining the integrity of our precision steel operations. Your daily duties will include:
* Production Planning: Developing comprehensive production and machine maintenance schedules to meet output targets.
* Performance Monitoring: Evaluating daily production processes and analyzing data to improve overall productivity and operational efficiency.
* Standardization: Drafting, reviewing, and updating Work Instructions (WI) and production process parameters.
* Problem Solving: Executing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve manufacturing disruptions and implementing long-term corrective measures.
* Compliance: Ensuring all shop floor activities strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company quality standards, and safety protocols.
* Collaborative Improvement: Working closely with cross-functional departments to support seamless production flow and equipment reliability.
* Reporting: Preparing detailed performance reports and providing actionable recommendations for process optimization.
## Required Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate technical proficiency and a commitment to continuous improvement. We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
* Professional Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Production Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
* Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) standards.
* Technical Expertise: Proficiency in manufacturing processes, heavy machinery operation, and foundational industrial maintenance.
* Continuous Improvement: Proven track record in implementing methodologies such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or similar efficiency frameworks.
* Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with the capacity to perform deep-dive data analysis.
* Software Proficiency: Advanced competency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a specific focus on Excel for data management and reporting.
* Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a professional team.
