To support its continued growth and expanding project pipeline, PT Hydromaster Harmoni Nusantara is actively seeking an experienced Site / Project Manager (WTP Projects) to oversee engineering developments in Batam.
## Core Responsibilities of the Site / Project Manager
The successful candidate will take full ownership of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) initiatives from project initiation through final commissioning and handover. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
* End-to-End Project Leadership: Directing and executing WTP projects to meet rigorous operational, timeline, and quality benchmarks.
* Financial & Budgetary Control: Establishing project budgets, implementing cost management controls, and optimizing resource allocation to prevent overruns.
* Schedule Development & Monitoring: Formulating detailed master schedules and tracking project milestones to ensure timely project delivery.
* Stakeholder Coordination: Serving as the central liaison between clients, internal engineering departments, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Documentation & Compliance: Managing all project documentation, securing statutory approvals, and compiling final close-out documents, including completion certificates.
* Quality Assurance & Safety Oversight: Enforcing strict quality standards and driving full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations on site.
## Applicant Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in mechanical engineering combined with strong field management skills in the water treatment sector. Requirements include:
* Educational Background: Minimum Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor's degree preferred).
* Industry Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience operating as a Site Manager or Project Manager specifically within Water Treatment Plant (WTP) projects.
* Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated capability in reading, interpreting, and auditing complex engineering and technical drawings.
* Language Proficiency: Strong command of spoken and written English for professional technical communication.
* Leadership Capabilities: Exceptional team management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in high-pressure construction environments.
* Work Location: Readiness to be stationed at the project site in Batam.
