## Job Description: Electrical Technician
As an Electrical Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational integrity of electrical systems within refinery environments. Your day-to-day responsibilities will demand high precision, safety compliance, and technical expertise.
* Execute comprehensive commissioning, startup, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance routines for various electrical equipment and systems across refinery zones.
* Conduct thorough condition and functionality checks on electric motors, electrical panels, Motor Control Centers (MCC), switchgear, transformers, cabling systems, lighting, grounding grids, and associated hardware.
* Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance activities strictly in alignment with active work orders, scheduled maintenance plans, and standardized work instructions.
* Resolve electrical disruptions rapidly, accurately, and safely through advanced troubleshooting methodologies.
* Identify operational abnormalities during inspections and provide actionable recommendations to Supervisors and Engineers.
* Interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD), complex wiring diagrams, electrical blueprints, and pertinent technical documentation.
* Adhere stringently to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Permit to Work systems, Job Safety Analysis (JSA/JHA), and Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) regulations.
* Maintain accurate operational records and documentation regarding completed tasks, technical anomalies, troubleshooting histories, and equipment statuses.
## Candidate Qualifications
To qualify for this technical position, applicants must meet specific criteria designed to ensure operational readiness and safety in high-demand industrial environments:
* Citizenship: Must be an Indonesian Citizen (WNI).
* Educational Background: Minimum requirement of a high school diploma (SMA/SMK).
* Professional Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical equipment maintenance.
* Technical Competencies:
* Proficiency in coupling and uncoupling electric motor gearboxes.
* Expertise in operating specialized electrical measuring and testing instruments.
* Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults swiftly and securely.
* Strong capability in reading and explaining Single Line Diagrams and electrical schematics.
* Comprehensive foundational knowledge of standard electrical hardware.
* Location: Current domicile must be in Balikpapan and surrounding areas.
* Employment Status: Willing to be engaged as an Outssourced Personnel (Tenaga Alih Daya / TAD).
