# Career Opportunities: Join the Ministry of Forestry Wildlife Ecotourism Project
Stepping into a career that directly safeguards Indonesia’s breathtaking natural landscapes and rare wildlife is no longer just a dream—it is an actionable opportunity. The Indonesian Ministry of Forestry, through the Directorate General of Natural Resources and Ecosystem Conservation (KSDAE), has officially launched a recruitment drive for dynamic professionals. This initiative forms the backbone of the "Enhancing Co-Benefits of Conservation Area Management through an Inclusive Wildlife-based Ecotourism Strategy" (WILDLIFE ECOTOURISM) project, generously backed by the Global Biodiversity Framework Fund (GBFF).
If you possess a passion for conservation and the professional acumen to drive sustainable development, this nationwide recruitment offers a unique chance to shape the future of eco-friendly tourism and biodiversity resilience in Indonesia.
## About the WILDLIFE ECOTOURISM Project
The core mission of the WILDLIFE ECOTOURISM project is twofold: to drastically elevate biodiversity conservation and to bolster ecosystem resilience across select Indonesian conservation zones. By integrating inclusive wildlife-based ecotourism strategies, the project ensures active participation from local communities while simultaneously generating long-term economic advantages.
To bring this vision to life, the Ministry is mobilizing two main task forces: the Project Management Unit (PMU) based at the central headquarters, and the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) stationed across five vital national parks.
